Although sitting many miles away from the country, I am so disappointed with India's loss to Sri Lanka that I could not sleep the whole night. This team did not perform. Do not pity the team by watching their tearful pictures. We who have always been supporters of our cricketers cannot forgive this team. The team that carries a flag of 'commercial favourites' should be changed to a team that is 'country favourites'. These overpaid guys do not care about India's Pride. The team that reached final last time is heading back to home in NO TIME. Sack the following players: Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, Ajit Agarkar, Munaf Patel, Zaheer Khan, Anil Kumble

They played with feelings of billions of people. How can the team, full of potential, lose in the first round of World Cup? For that we waited four long years. Dravid says the players are more disappointed. Well, I don't think so, it's all rubbish they are getting good money that's it. I like to ask any one from BCCI is it possible to ban them from endorsing products. If it happens, then only India can qualify for the next World Cup in 2011.

This team, a bunch of non-performing, highly-glorified- for-nothing, should be punished. Rip them of their assets they have accumulated just because they wear the Indian cricket cap. When we see each of these, I hate to drink Pepsi, I will not buy a bike endorsed by them and will stop my family to buy anything at all that is campaigned by these paper heroes. This is a small way I can punish these shameless creatures.

Another competition and another usual post match media eyewash, the same lines but in a different locale. My two cents worth-team selection was wrong, Kumble should have been included in place of Bhajji, Pathan or Sreesanth, both equally non-impressive, in lieu of Robin, Bhajji going wicketless in the WC. Totally rubbish. Poor Ramesh Powar Time for introspection, Dravid should hand over to Ganguly, Sachin should retire from ODIs, Sehwag should be retained, Pathan/Dhoni/ Harbhajan/ Agarkar should be rested and...Well, whom will they play? Bench strength is equally poor. So folks sit back and enjoy watching us losing again and again. Sad but true, with a politician at the head of affairs, how do you expect politics not to play its own rule in running of the game. That's India, rich becomes richer and the poor becomes poorer.

Someone said correctly, we still have hopes with Bookies. They can possibly make Bangladesh team lose to Bermuda and there again so called 'Tigers' will get another chance to wag their tails.

It seems they were caught up in the media frenzy which took place back home prior to their arrival in the Caribbean. I heard a lot of money were spent leading up to the Worldcup.

About a fortnight ago when I wrote the blog, Why Pakistan must win Twenty20 World Cup, I was flooded with colourful abuses. An overwhelming majority of respondents labelled me "unpatriotic." Many appeared convinced that India was going to win the World Cup and that Pakistan will be knocked out in the first round.
